what is f1 in schools
F1 in Schools is a global STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) competition where students design, build, and race miniature Formula 1-style cars using CAD/CAM software. The challenge simulates real-world engineering and business aspects of F1, including aerodynamics, manufacturing, project management, and sponsorship. Teams compete in regional, national, and world finals, testing their designs in a high-speed race while also presenting their project to judges. The competition not only enhances technical skills but also fosters teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation, preparing students for careers in engineering, design, and beyond.
